Leiden overcame Zwolle at home court to force the decisive seventh game in the semifinal series. The game without a history. Leiden led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. The best player for the winners was the former international Rogier Jansen (188-84, agency: Court Side) who scored 28 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists. The former international Jessey Voorn (197-90, agency: Court Side) chipped in 21 points and 5 rebounds. Four Leiden players scored in double figures. Leiden's coach Paul Vervaeck felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American center Clayton Vette (202-88, college: Winona St., agency: Court Side) who recorded a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds and his fellow American import guard JT Tiller (188-88, college: Missouri) added 11 points respectively.
