Geneve Lions outgunned Neuchatel to advance into LNA semifinals. Neuchatel trailed by 13 points after 3 quarters before a 25-18 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 70-76 at the end of the game. Geneve Lions dominated on the defensive end, holding Neuchatel to just 4 points in first quarter. They made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Neuchatel 41-30 including a 30-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman Antonio Ballard (193-88, college: Miami, OH) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import guard Chad Timberlake (194-84, college: Fair Dickinson, agency: BeoBasket) who added 13 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. Ballard is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the losing side Lithuanian forward Raimundas Danys (198-85, agency: Octagon Europe) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds and American guard Tony Brown (193-79, college: Arkansas St.) scored 11 points and 4 assists.
