Semi-Finals Game 3: Sokhumi - Batumi 95-85

The game was mostly controlled by Sokhumi. Batumi managed to win fourth quarter 24-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Batumi 43-24 including a 28-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Sokhumi looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a great evening for naturalized Azerbaijani forward Davit Barbakadze (203-82) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points and 5 rebounds. American guard Dwayne Lathan (190-89, college: Indiana St.) helped adding 16 points and 6 rebounds. Four Sokhumi players scored in double figures. Sokhumi's coach Nugzar Cheishvili used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was Ukrainian forward Igor Krivtsov (201-86) with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and international Kakhaber Jintcharadze (195-93) scored 11 points.
