Semi-Finals Game 3: Homenetmen - Moutahed 95-82

Homenetmen overcame Moutahed to take 2-1 lead in the series. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Homenetmen made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international swingman Fadi El-Khatib (198-79) who scored 41 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds. American forward Dewayne Jackson (203-90, college: Morgan St., agency: Higher Vision Sports) chipped in 23 points and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Dewarick Spencer (192-82, college: Arkansas St., agency: Higher Vision Sports) who recorded 22 points and the other American import guard Ramel Curry (191-80, college: CSU Bakersfield) added 18 points and 4 assists respectively. Four Al Moutahed players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
