Villeneuve overcame Lattes Montpellier to regain the lead in the championship series. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 80-60. Villeneuve D'Ascq outrebounded Lattes Montpellier 37-24 including 25 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international guard Virginie Bremont (177-87) who scored 11 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. International forward Valerianne Ayayi (184-94) chipped in 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Villeneuve D'Ascq players scored in double figures.
