Semi-Finals Game 1: Nishinomiya S. - Gunma 68-59

Nishinomiya rallied past Gunma to take 1-0 lead in the series. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Gunma won fourth quarter 19-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Draelon Burns (194-85, college: De Paul) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 5 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Larry Owens (201-83, college: ORU, agency: Three Eye Sports) contributed with 9 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. American forward Thomas Kennedy (201-87, college: Detroit Mercy) answered with 16 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and Nigerian forward Abdullahi Kuso (206-84, college: Tallahassee CC) added 14 points, 7 rebounds and 6 blocks in the effort for Gunma. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
