R8 Basket topped Slask in Wroclaw to move closer to 2Liga title. The game was mostly controlled by R8 Basket Krk.. Slask was better in fourth quarter 23-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. R8 Basket Krk. forced 24 Slask turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Forward Wojciech Pisarczyk (201-88) nailed a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side and the former international center Michal Hlebowicki (204-76) accounted for 14 points and 5 rebounds. Five R8 Basket Krk. players scored in double figures. Point guard Wojciech Jakubiak (180-96) came up with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and power forward Aleksander Dziewa (206-97) added 16 points and 11 rebounds respectively for Slask in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
