Indonesia nipped Thailand for the third straight victory in Manila. Sandy Kurniawan scored 17 points to lead the winners. Thailand eked out a 29:26 halftime lead. Indonesia used a 19:10 run in the third term to take a 6-point lead at the final break. Thailand dropped 20 points in the fourth term but could not avoid the loss. Christian Setipu provided 9 points in the win. Chitchai Ananti responded with 24 points for Thailand.
