Umana Venezia held off Pistoia to open 2-0 advantage. It looked good early as The Flexx PT took a 6-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Umana Venezia had a 14-4 second period charge getting the lead and The Flexx PT was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 68-72. Umana Venezia dominated on the defensive end, holding The Flexx PT to just 4 points in second quarter. Croatian forward Hrvoje Peric (203-85) orchestrated the victory by scoring 18 points. International swingman Stefano Tonut (194-93) contributed with 13 points for the winners. The former international center Andrea Crosariol (212-84, college: Fair Dickinson) replied with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds and American forward Terran Petteway (198-92, college: Nebraska) added 14 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for The Flexx PT. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
