Important game to mention about took place in Humacao. Eighth ranked Brujos (8-11) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging 6th ranked Caciques (8-11) 80-79 in the game for the sixth place. Caciques were ahead by 12 points after three quarters before a 28-15 charge of Brujos, which allowed them to win the game. American guard Damien Wilkins (198-80, college: Georgia) saved the victory by scoring 28 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. The other American import forward Chane Behanan (198-92, college: Louisville) contributed with 14 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Naturalized American guard Wil Martinez (188-92, college: Fairmont St., agency: Paris Global Sports) replied with 33 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds and American-Lebanese power forward Jarrid Famous (209-88, college: S.Florida) added 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Caciques. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Brujos moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Humacao. Caciques lost sixth consecutive game. Brujos will play against Vaqueros (#8) in Bayamon in the next round. Caciques will have a break next round.
