Naft Abadan rallied past Azad in the decisive fifth game of the series to advance into Finals. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 14-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 85-66. Naft Abadan forced 21 Azad turnovers. The best player for the winners was the former international center Meisam Mirzaei (210-92) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 15 rebounds. The former international swingman Saeed Davarpanah (190-87, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 31 points and 4 steals (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line).
