Yakin Dogu BGD celebrated KBSL title. They nipped Fenerbahce in a dramatic fifth game of the title series to be crowned champions. Fenerbahce was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. It was a great shooting night for Yakin Dogu BGD especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 56.3 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was American-Hungarian point guard Courtney Vandersloot (173-89, college: Gonzaga) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points, 6 rebounds and 14 assists. The former international center Quanitra Hollingsworth (196-88, college: VCU) chipped in a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds. American power forward Candace Parker (193-86, college: Tennessee) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists and French center Sandrine Gruda (193-87) added 21 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the guests.
