Quarter-Finals Round 3: The Flexx PT - Umana VE 89-75

Pistoia topped Umana Venezia to cut the deficit. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 89-75. The Flexx PT dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Umana Venezia's 32 and made 19-of-22 free shots (86.4 percent) during the game. The Flexx PT forced 24 Umana Venezia turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. It was a great evening for American forward Terran Petteway (198-92, college: Nebraska) who led his team to a victory scoring 26 points and 5 rebounds. His fellow American import point guard Ronald Moore (183-88, college: Siena) helped adding 11 points, 6 rebounds and 11 assists. Four The Flexx PT players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Croatian forward Hrvoje Peric (203-85) with 15 points and 5 rebounds and Greek-American swingman Michael Bramos (196-87, college: Miami, OH) scored 13 points. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
