Antwerp rolled past Mons-Hainaut for 1-0 lead. Antwerp Giants players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. American power forward Gavin Ware (206-93, college: Mississippi St.) stepped up and scored 14 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and his fellow American import forward Ryan Anderson (206-92, college: Arizona) chipped in 9 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. At the losing side American guard Tre Demps (188-93, college: Northwestern) responded with 24 points and Romanian center Alexandru Olah (213-93, college: Northwestern) scored 10 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
