The game was mostly controlled by Batumi. Sokhumi managed to win third quarter 29-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Batumi looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Levan Revazashvili (210-92) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) for the winners and international Kakhaber Jintcharadze (195-93) chipped in 18 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. At the losing side Otari Buliava (202-94) responded with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists and forward Giorgi Kvetenadze (201-90) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 16 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
