Finals Game 1: Gunma - Hiroshima D. 65-78

Hiroshima beat Gunma to claim the Bronze medals. The game was mostly controlled by Dragonflies. Gunma managed to win third quarter 17-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. 24 personal fouls committed by Gunma helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of Australian-Trinidad and Tobago guard Daniel Dillon (193-86, college: Arizona, agency: Babcock Sports) who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Hiromu Kitagawa (182-91) contributed with 14 points for the winners. American forward Thomas Kennedy (201-87, college: Detroit Mercy) answered with 35 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds and point guard Masashi Obuchi (182-83) added 12 points and 4 assists in the effort for Gunma. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
