Tochigi Brex reached B League Final. They did so despite losing Game 2 to SeaHorses. Tochigi managed to earn win in the extra period. Tochigi Brex trailed by 13 points at halftime and as many as 19 after three quarters before a 25-8 last quarter charge cut the deficit to 63-65 at the end of the game. The former international swingman Makoto Hiejima (190-90) orchestrated the victory by scoring 12 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. American center Isaac Butts (208-89, college: Appalachian St.) contributed with 6 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. American power forward Ryan Rossiter (204-89, college: Siena) replied with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Jeffrey Gibbs (188-80, college: Otterbein) added 13 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Tochigi Brex. Tochigi Brex's coach Thomas Wisman rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
