The hosts trailed by 11 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 71-64. The best player for the winners was center Jose-Manuel Coego (205-78) who scored 17 points and 8 rebounds. Power forward Ramon Espuna (206-84) chipped in 10 points and 8 rebounds. Four Mollet players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Jon Galarza (193-97) who recorded 11 points and 9 rebounds and Luis Ferrando (185-96, college: Mount Olive) added 13 points respectively. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest.
