International center Ioannis Bourousis (214-83) contributed with 15 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four Panathinaikos players scored in double figures. Croatian point guard Roko-Leni Ukic (196-84, agency: XL Basketball Agency) replied with 16 points and the former international center Loukas Mavrokefalidis (207-84) added 14 points in the effort for AEK Athens. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
