Quarter-Finals Round 3: Strasbourg - Pau-Lacq-Orthez 72-68

Strasbourg held off Pau-Lacz-Orthez at home court to advance into the semifinal stage. It looked good early as Pau-Lacq-Orthez took a 2-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Strasbourg IG had a 21-15 second period charge getting the lead and Pau-Lacq-Orthez was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 68-72. They outrebounded Pau-Lacq-Orthez 45-30 including 32 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a quality performance of American point guard Erving Walker (173-90, college: Florida, agency: Two Points) who helped to win the game recording 18 points. American-FYR Macedonian Romeo Travis (201-84, college: Akron) helped adding 13 points and 7 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American guard Taquan Dean (193-83, college: Louisville, agency: Two Points) with 13 points and 9 rebounds and American-Venezuelan guard John Cox (194-81, college: USF, agency: Pensack Sports) scored 16 points. Five Pau-Lacq-Orthez players scored in double figures. Pau-Lacq-Orthez's coach Eric Bartecheky tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game.
