Finals Game 3: Avenir - Roche 66-71

Roche conquered LF2 title. They beat Avenir on the road in the decisive third game of the Finals. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Avenir won third quarter 19-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Roche won last quarter 17-14. 24 personal fouls committed by Avenir helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for DR Congolese center Bernadette Ngoyisa (195-82) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Naturalized Senegalese forward Mariame Dia (185-78) contributed with 12 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Roche players scored in double figures. American forward Tiffany Clarke (183-91, college: Vanderbilt) answered with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds and point guard Melanie Devaux (170-92) added 13 points and 4 assists in the effort for Avenir. Avenir's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
