Unicaja overcame Iberostar Tenerife to claim the semifinal appearance. The game without a history. Unicaja Malaga led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was an exceptional evening for Serbian point guard Nemanja Nedovic (191-91, agency: BeoBasket) who led the winners and scored 15 points. The former international forward Carlos Suarez (203-86, agency: Court Side) accounted for 10 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. Four Unicaja Malaga players scored in double figures. Unicaja Malaga's coach Joan Plaza used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Canadian-Dutch forward Aaron Doornekamp (201-85, agency: Interperformances) came up with 11 points and 9 rebounds and American-French forward Tariq Kirksay (199-79, college: Iona, agency: Octagon Europe) added 11 points and 8 rebounds respectively for CB Canarias in the defeat.
