Semi-Finals Game 2: Umana VE - Scandone AV 88-77

Umana Venezia drew things level in the series following home victory in Game 2. The game was mostly controlled by Umana Venezia. Scandone AV was better in second period 20-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Scandone AV 32-21. Umana Venezia players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Croatian forward Hrvoje Peric (203-85) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points and 6 rebounds. Canadian-Nigerian forward Melvin Ejim (200-91, college: Iowa St.) contributed with 11 points and 6 assists for the winners. American-Polish guard David Logan (185-82, college: Indianapolis) replied with 17 points and 4 steals and American guard Levi Randolph (196-92, college: Alabama) added 12 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Scandone AV. Five Umana Venezia and four Scandone AV players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
