Maccabi Rishon stormed past Hapoel Eilat to even the series at 1-1. The game without a history. Maccabi Rishon led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Maccabi Rishon outrebounded Hapoel Eilat 37-26 including 27 on the defensive glass. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 63.6 percentage. Maccabi Rishon looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Hapoel Eilat's players. 24 personal fouls committed by Hapoel Eilat helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. International power forward Idan Zalmanson (206-95) scored 14 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and American swingman Patrick Richard (196-90, college: McNeese St., agency: Inception Sports) chipped in 14 points and 4 assists during the contest. Four Maccabi Rishon players scored in double figures. The former international center Robert Rothbart (217-86, agency: Octagon Europe) responded with 8 points and 7 rebounds and naturalized Danish guard Chanan Colman (191-84, college: Chipola JC) scored 13 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
