Real Madrid held off Andorra to advance into the next round. The game was mostly controlled by Real Madrid. Andorra managed to win second period 21-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Real Madrid outrebounded Andorra 39-27 including 26 on the defensive glass. It was a quality performance for Mexican power forward Gustavo Ayon (207-85, college: San Jose St.) who led the winners and scored 15 points and 9 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots).
