Finals Game 2: Souffel - Quimper 79-92 OT

Quimper rallied past Souffel on the road in overtime to sweep NM1 playoffs Finals series. Quimper therefore clinched ProB promotion. The guests trailed by 6 points after three quarters before their 28-22 charge, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time and get a 13-point victory in overtime. Souffelweyersheim was plagued by 35 personal fouls down the stretch. Ukrainian forward Vyacheslav Bobrov (201-92) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds. Kevin Mondesir (204-91) contributed with 14 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Quimper UJAP's coach Laurent Foirest used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Lithuanian power forward Giedrius Staniulis (205-91) replied with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and American point guard Fabyon Harris (180-91, college: Texas A&M) added 22 points and 4 assists in the effort for Souffelweyersheim. Five Quimper UJAP and four Souffelweyersheim players scored in double figures.
