Quarter-Finals Round 3: Hapoel Holon - Maccabi Haifa 77-78

Maccabi Haifa nipped Hapoel Holon on the road to celebrate the second victory in a row. The guests trailed by 9 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 78-77. It was a great evening for naturalized American Willy Workman (198-90, college: Amherst) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds. Naturalized American point guard John DiBartolomeo (183-91, college: Rochester, agency: Duran International) helped adding 19 points and 6 assists. DiBartolomeo is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. The best for the losing side was American guard Tu Holloway (182-89, college: Xavier) with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 assists and guard Shlomi Harush (185-87) scored 14 points and 8 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
