Semi-Finals Game 1: Real Madrid - Unicaja 71-68

Real Madrid held off Unicaja to take 1-0 lead in the semifinal series. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Unicaja Malaga won third quarter 16-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Real Madrid won last quarter 19-18. Worth to mention a great performance of international Sergio Llull (190-87) who helped to win the game recording 28 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Mexican power forward Gustavo Ayon (207-85, college: San Jose St.) contributed with 13 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Serbian point guard Nemanja Nedovic (191-91, agency: BeoBasket) answered with 18 points and Slovenian center Alen Omic (216-92) added 12 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Unicaja Malaga. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
