Semi-Finals Game 1: Chalon - Paris-Levallois 72-69

Date: May 31, 2017
Chalon outgunned Paris-Levallois in the opener. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Paris-Levallois won third quarter 19-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard John Roberson (180-88, college: Texas Tech) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 6 assists. Center Moustapha Fall (218-92) contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Chalon/Saor players scored in double figures. American guard Jason Rich (191-86) answered with 24 points and the other American import point guard Louis Campbell (190-79, college: Buffalo) added 13 points and 4 assists in the effort for Paris-Levallois. Paris-Levallois' coach Frederic Fauthoux rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
