Semi-Finals Game 4: Scandone AV - Umana VE 73-75

Umana Venezia upset Avellino on the road to even the series at 2-2. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Scandone AV won third quarter 22-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of Greek-American swingman Michael Bramos (196-87, college: Miami, OH) who helped to win the game recording 15 points. Croatian forward Hrvoje Peric (203-85) contributed with 10 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American-Liberian point guard Joe Ragland (182-89, college: Wichita St.) replied with 17 points and 5 assists (made all of his nine free throws !!!) and American forward Maarten Leunen (206-85, college: Oregon) added 14 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Scandone AV. Four Scandone AV players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
