Trento smashed EA7 Armani on the road to seal their Serie A Finals appearance. The game was mostly controlled by Dolomiti En. TR. Armani Milano managed to win second period 23-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Dolomiti En. TR shot 23 for 35 from the free-throw line, while Armani Milano only scored six points from the stripe. 28 personal fouls committed by Armani Milano helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American swingman Dominique Sutton (198-86, college: N.C.Central) who scored 26 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. His fellow American import guard Aaron Craft (188-91, college: Ohio St.) chipped in 14 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Four Dolomiti En. TR players scored in double figures. American swingman Rakim Sanders (193-89, college: Fairfield) produced 25 points and international point guard Andrea Cinciarini (193-86) added 8 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
