Rather predictable result in San German where sixth ranked Atleticos (12-14) defeated 8th ranked Brujos (10-15) 74-69. Brujos were ahead by 6 points after three quarters before a 21-10 charge of Atleticos, which allowed them to win the game. They made 17-of-19 charity shots (89.5 percent) during the game. The winners were led by the former international guard Gary Browne (185-93, college: W.Virginia, agency: Inception Sports) who scored that evening 25 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists and American power forward Justin Keenan (202-88, college: Ferris St.) supported him with 15 points and 6 rebounds. Atleticos' coach Wilhelmus Caanen allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Even 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists by American guard Damien Wilkins (198-80, college: Georgia) did not help to save the game for Brujos. Naturalized American guard Kyle Vinales (185-92, college: Cent.Conn.St.) added 19 points for lost side. Atleticos have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place. Atleticos will play against league's leader Santeros in Coamo in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Brujos will play on the road against Leones (#4) in Juana Diaz and hope to get back on the winning track.
