Botafogo held off Blumenau to surge ahead in the series. Botafogo F.R. looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Blumenau's players. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international guard Arnaldinho Filho (187-78) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 6 assists. American point guard Jamaal Smith (175-85, college: N.Mexico) contributed with 14 points and 6 assists for the winners. Guard Gabriel De-Oliveira (202-93) answered with 28 points and 8 rebounds and American guard Deonta Stocks (185-88, college: W.Georgia) added 18 points and 6 steals in the effort for Blumenau. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
