Hermosillo opened win count versus Navolato. Rayos de Hermosillo forced 19 Garra Canera de Navolato turnovers and outrebounded them 38-26 including 30 on the defensive glass. Rayos de Hermosillo looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American players dominated the game. Forward Myke Henry (198-92, college: De Paul) stepped up and scored 21 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and Jeremiah Wilson (205-88, college: Tarleton St.) chipped in 15 points and 11 rebounds. Four Rayos de Hermosillo players scored in double figures. At the losing side swingman Dwayne Mitchell (196-82, college: La-Lafayette) responded with 25 points, 5 assists and 4 steals and forward Mychal Ammons (198-92, college: S.Alabama) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
