Monthey outgunned Geneve Lions to take 3-2 lead in the championship series. The game was mostly controlled by Monthey. Geneve Lions managed to win third quarter 16-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Geneve Lions 44-22 including a 36-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Monthey looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Brandon Young (193-91, college: De Paul) who scored 18 points and 7 assists. Naturalized French Mikael Maruotto (201-91) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds. Four Monthey players scored in double figures. Lithuanian center Dominykas Milka (203-92, college: St.Rose, NY) produced 11 points and 5 rebounds and American guard Chad Timberlake (194-84, college: Fair Dickinson, agency: BeoBasket) added 10 points respectively for the guests. Geneve Lions' coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win.
