Semi-Finals Game 4: Blumenau - Botafogo F.R. 69-74

Botafogo outgunned Blumenau to secure the championship series birth. Botafogo F.R. forced 21 Blumenau turnovers. Strangely Blumenau outrebounded Botafogo F.R. 37-25 including 28 on the offensive glass. 26 personal fouls committed by Blumenau helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Wesley Russell (193-93, college: Ohio Christian) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 4 assists. The other American import point guard Jamaal Smith (175-85, college: N.Mexico) contributed with 14 points, 5 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Russell is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Botafogo F.R. players scored in double figures. Botafogo F.R.'s coach Marcio Andrade used entire bench in such tough game. American guard Deonta Stocks (185-88, college: W.Georgia) replied with 21 points and Luiz Semmke (197-92) added 14 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Blumenau.
