Quarter-Finals Round 3: Navolato - Hermosillo 74-91

Hermosillo rallied past Navolato on the road to ensure 2-1 advantage. It looked good early as Garra Canera de Navolato took a 2-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Rayos de Hermosillo had a 28-20 second period charge getting the lead and Garra Canera de Navolato was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 74-91. Rayos de Hermosillo dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Garra Canera de Navolato's 36. It was a good game for American forward Emmanuel Little (196-85, college: N.Dakota) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds. Forward Jorge Camacho (203-89, college: E.Kentucky) contributed with 21 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Little is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Rayos de Hermosillo players scored in double figures. American swingman Dwayne Mitchell (196-82, college: La-Lafayette) answered with 23 points and the other American import forward Mychal Ammons (198-92, college: S.Alabama) added 17 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Garra Canera de Navolato. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
