Date: June 13, 2017
Monthey rolled past Geneve Lions to celebrate LNA title. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Geneve Lions won third quarter 17-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The former international power forward Jonathan Dubas (204-91) had a double-double by scoring 16 points, 13 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals to lead the charge for the winners and American forward Markel Humphrey (198-86, college: Marshall, agency: Three Eye Sports) chipped in 19 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Four Monthey players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American swingman Antonio Ballard (196-88, college: Miami, OH) with 16 points and 9 rebounds and the former international forward Marko Mladjan (205-93) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Geneve Lions' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
