Regular Season Round 6: Reales LV - Soles SD 112-102

Bottom-ranked Reales LV managed to get a second victory, breaking the four-game losing streak. This time they won against sixth-ranked Soles SD in La Vega 112-102. The game was mostly controlled by Reales LV. Soles SD was better in fourth quarter 36-32. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 28-of-31 charity shots (90.3 percent) during the game. Reales LV players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. The best player for the winners was American swingman Ollie Bailey (201-85, college: Oklahoma City) who scored 26 points and 8 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). The former international swingman James Maye (201-81, college: NC-Greensboro) chipped in 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Reales LV (2-5) moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Soles SD and Titanes Licey. Soles SD lost third consecutive game. Reales LV's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked Titanes Licey (#8) in San Cristobal.
