Date: June 13, 2017
Chalon fired past Strasbourg to take the lead in the championship series. The game was mostly controlled by Chalon/Saor. Strasbourg IG managed to win third quarter 25-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Strasbourg IG to just 6 points in first quarter. Chalon/Saor looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Lance Harris (195-84, college: Kansas St.) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and 9 rebounds. His fellow American import point guard John Roberson (180-88, college: Texas Tech) contributed with 18 points and 9 assists for the winners. Four Chalon/Saor players scored in double figures. American-Polish point guard AJ Slaughter (191-87, college: W.Kentucky, agency: BeoBasket) answered with 17 points and 4 assists and American-FYR Macedonian Romeo Travis (201-84, college: Akron) added 11 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Strasbourg IG. Strasbourg IG's coach rotated eleven players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
