Hapoel Jerusalem are crowned Winner League champions. They outgunned Maccabi Haifa in the Final tonight. The teams were tied at the half but Jerusalem managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. American Jerome Dyson (191-87, college: Connecticut) stepped up and scored 30 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and his fellow American import point guard Curtis Jerrells (185-87, college: Baylor) chipped in 21 points and 5 assists. At the losing side Venezuelan point guard Gregory Vargas (180-86, agency: Pro Sports) responded with 30 points and 6 assists and American-Mexican point guard Orlando Mendez-Valdez (183-86, college: W.Kentucky, agency: Pro Sports) scored 14 points.
