Puerto Rico accumulated a 42:31 halftime advantage. They extended the gap at 17-point mark at the final intermission and never looked back en route to the win. Jermaine Miranda and Andre Curbelo chipped in 11 points apiece in the victory. Ivan Cruz responded with 18 points for Mexico.
