Very expected game when 7th ranked Frankston Blues (4-12) lost to first ranked Spectres (13-3) in East Burwood 82-91 on Saturday. Spectres made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Spectres outrebounded Frankston Blues 41-29 including a 31-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a very good performance for Sam McDonald (-84) who helped to win the game recording 13 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. Thomas Wright contributed with 19 points and 4 assists for the winners. Four Spectres players scored in double figures. Spectres' coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest.
