Los Mochis outgunned Obregon on the road to even the semifinal series at 1-1. Pioneros Los Mochis made 24-of-27 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for Pioneros Los Mochis especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. The best player for the winners was American guard Jeff Early (190-88, college: S.Illinois) who scored 34 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!). Manuel Hernandez chipped in 24 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. American forward Michael Glover (203-87, college: Iona) produced a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!), 11 rebounds and 4 assists (on 14-of-17 shooting from the field) and his fellow American import swingman Glen Rice-Jr (198-91, college: Georgia Tech) added 26 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists respectively for the hosts. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures.
