Eagles were trailing by 2 points at halftime but managed to get 5-point lead after three quarters before a 23-16 charge of Slammers, which allowed them to win the game. American-Irish forward Brian Voelkel (198-92, college: Vermont, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 18 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners and American guard Tre Nichols (180-89, college: Boise St., agency: SDJ Sports) chipped in 26 points and 6 rebounds.
