Semi-Finals Game 4: Guaymas - Hermosillo 83-79

Guaymas held off Hermosillo to gain the opening win in the series. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Rayos de Hermosillo won third quarter 24-21. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. 24 personal fouls committed by Rayos de Hermosillo helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American point guard Carl Jones (180-91, college: St.Joseph's, agency: DTMones) fired 30 points and 4 assists for the winners. Guard Daniel Giron (175-89) chipped in 18 points and 6 rebounds (made all of his ten free throws !!!). Four Ostioneros de Guaymas players scored in double figures. American forward Myke Henry (198-92, college: De Paul) produced 21 points and 8 rebounds and the former international point guard Steve Monreal (180-86, college: CS Monterey) added 18 points and 8 assists respectively for lost side. Rayos de Hermosillo's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
