Regular Season Round 38: Quebradillas - Guayama 61-78

The most important game in the last round took place in Quebradillas between third ranked Piratas (19-15) and ninth ranked Brujos (14-20) on Sunday night. Piratas were defeated by Brujos at home 78-61. The guests trailed by 10 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 78-61. The best player for the winners was American guard Damien Wilkins (198-80, college: Georgia) who scored 30 points and 7 rebounds. The other American import forward Lorrenzo Wade (201-85, college: San Diego St., agency: Interperformances) chipped in 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international guard Richard Chaney (196-84, college: Troy) produced a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds and the former international Javier Mojica (190-84, college: Cent.Conn.St., agency: Paris Global Sports) added 14 points and 5 assists respectively for the hosts.
