The guests were ahead by 6 points but lost the second period ending it with a 4-point deficit before their 25-12 run, which allowed them to win the game. Leones players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. The winners were led by guard Gabriel Belardo (188-89, college: FIU) who scored that evening 21 points and Mike Harris (198-83, college: Rice) supported him with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Five Leones players scored in double figures. Even 19 points and 8 rebounds by Tony Mitchell (198-89, college: Alabama) did not help to save the game for Indios.
