Regular Season Round 15: Reales LV - Metros STGO 86-93

LNB top team - Metros STGO (13-3) added another victory to their record. This time they beat sixth ranked Reales LV (7-10) in La Vega 93-86. The guests were already 22 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 36-21 Reales LV's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 93-86 at the end of the game. Metros STGO made 16-of-20 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. It was a great evening for American Frank Gaines (191-90, college: IPFW) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points. Point guard Adris De-Leon (180-84, college: E.Washington) helped adding 9 points and 8 assists. Metros STGO's coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American swingman Ollie Bailey (201-85, college: Oklahoma City) with 20 points and 6 rebounds and guard Juan Coronado (193-83) scored 17 points. Five Reales LV players scored in double figures. Metros STGO have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place with 13-3 record. Reales LV lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fifth position with ten games lost. They share it with Leones SD. Metros STGO will play against Huracanes PP (#3) in Puerto Plata in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Reales LV will have a break next round.
