Finals Game 3: Obregon - Hermosillo 94-101

Hermosillo upset Obregon on the road to cut the deficit in the title series 1-2. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 26-17. But Halcones de Ciudad Obregon won third quarter 31-26. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was the former international point guard Steve Monreal (180-86, college: CS Monterey) who scored 31 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals. American forward Emmanuel Little (196-85, college: N.Dakota) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds. Little is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Kevin Capers (188-93, college: Florida Southern) who recorded 32 points and the other American import swingman Glen Rice-Jr (198-91, college: Georgia Tech) added 11 points, 15 rebounds and 9 assists respectively. Five Rayos de Hermosillo and four Halcones de Ciudad Obregon players scored in double figures.
